I swear, this whole blogging thing will get better. I need an outlet, so this shall be it.
Lately, my head has been in a whirlwind, but I can't complain. Yesterday I was telling John that I would take this crazy-insane busy (so busy that most days I have no idea what day it is) over being back working in an office environment. I'm striving to be 100% my own boss and I will get there!
Holidays are one the of most rewarding and difficult times for small business (and large I'm sure). If only I could have like 10 more hours per day....
But I'm happy and alive and for that I am grateful!

FRESH START
Let's start this again. (How many times can one person start a blog before it actually sticks? this is for real this time, i swear!)
My name is Emily I am a 23 year old (24 next week, eek!) living in Boston. I have a passion for all things handmade and supporting small businesses. I have two cats, a lovely boyfriend, and a dream for something more.
Last October I founded Millennial Handmades. It started as a way to sell scarves and hats to my family and friends, but it quickly evolved into a crochet toy brand with a focus in doll making.
I left my corporate job that December to really pour all my energy into Millennial Handmades and it has been a crazy but hella-rewarding ride.
At the moment I'm not quite sure where this blog is going to go, for now I see it as an outlet and a way for you to get to know me better.
Happy Labor Day friends!
